   서정갑-조갑제-최진봉-이현종, 한 줄로 꿰맨 친북 카르텔

 

         ‘내가 5.18 최고전문가다‘ 서정갑의 허세

 

2018. 5.17. 서정갑이 MBC에 출연했다. 자기가 5.18문서를 다 훑어본 최고 전문가인데 광주에는 북한으로부터 개미새끼 한 마리 올 수 없었다고 단언했다. 그 뿐만 아니라 서정갑은 남의 모임에 나타나 지만원의 주장은 순 엉터리라는 발언들을 하여 우리 원극언 회원(전 코트라 임원)에게 현장에서 들켰다. 이에 안정권 대표와 원극언 회원님이 서정갑에 끈질기게 대시해 “뒷구멍에 다니면서 그렇게 할 것이 아니라 지만원과 깨끗하게 공토론을 하라”고 제의했다. 겉으로는 그리 하겠다 허풍을 떨어놓고 이리저리 피해만 갔다.

 

   서정갑: 북한군 600명이 왔으면 교전을 하러 왔을 텐데 계엄군이 몇 명이나 순직했나?

 

막다른 골목에 이르자 서정갑은 돌연히 나를 향해 고소를 함과 동시에 2018.8.6. ‘국민행동본부 성명서’ 란에 “육사22기 <지만원> 에 대한 공개질의”라는 제목의 성명서를 내놓았다. 이 글은 SNS를 타고 떠돌았다. 거기에는 18개의 질문내용이 있고, 그 모두는 지만원의 명예를 허물려는 송곳들이었다. 그 중 제10항은 이러했다.

 

“10. '1·21사태' 당시 김신조를 비롯한 30명이 침투했을 때 軍은 물론 전국이 발칵 뒤집어졌고, 울진 무장공비 100여명 침투 당시에는 상당수의 피아(彼我)사상자가 발생하였습니다. 그렇다면 인민군 1개 대대 600여명 대병력이 침투한 5·18 당시 국군희생(순직)자는 몇 명인지 아십니까?”

 

        서정갑: 북괴군과 싸워 사망한 계엄군을 ‘순직자’라 규정

위 질문에서 눈에 띠는 것은 계엄군이 북괴군과 교전해 사망한 경우 이는 ‘전사가 아니라 순직’이라는 대목이다. 이 질문은 너무나 어이없는 내용이어서 그냥 웃고만 말았다. 서정갑은 복장만 군복이지 사실적으로는 민간 공무원과 다를 바 없는 부관병과에서 일했다, 부관장교는 “병사들 배치와 보직을 담당하는 것을 임무로 하는 행정병과”다. 부관병과로는 어디 가서 군생활 했다고 자신 있게 말하기 어렵다. 인식이 그만큼 좋지 않은 것이다. 그래서 나는 ”부관병과 장교였으니 이 모양이지“ 하고 넘어 갔다.

 

서정갑은 스스로 컴맹임을 자랑삼아 말해왔다. 그래서 나는 당시 이 공개질의서를 아마도 남이 써주었겠거니“ 하는 정도로만 생각하고 말았다. 그런데 이번 21월 16일(일) 녹음했다는 조갑제 음성의 녹음기록이 나에게 전해졌다. 거기에는 ”누군가가 자기가 바라는 방향대로, 자기감정에 사실을 꿰어 맞추려는 사람이 있는데 그게 바로 600명 침투설을 주장한 지만원이라는 취지의 내용이 있었다. 북한군 600명이 왔으면 계엄군과 교전을 했을 텐데 왜 계엄군에서 시체가 불과 10여구만 나왔느냐? " 기세등등하게 지만원을 힐난했다

 

                  서정갑과 조갑제 둘 다 저지능

 

2013년부터 조갑제는 시쳇말로 도시락 싸가지고 다니면서 ”5.18에 북한군이 단 1명이라도 왔다면 내가 목숨을 내놓겠다“고 방송하고 강연했다. 나는 이런 조갑제에 ‘내용증명’으로 공개토론하자 편지를 보냈다. 그런데 조갑제는 묵묵부답이었다. 이렇게 해놓고 서정갑과 함께 뒤로 다니면서 5.18을 호위하고 북한의 남침사실을 은닉해주려는 행동을 한다.

 

조갑제는 지만원을 ”자기 감정에 사실을 꿰맞추는 공상가“ 정도로 매도한다. 12월 13일은 대법원이 나에게 8,200만원의 손해배상을 판결한 날이다. 모든 우익들이 나에게 동정을 표했다. 그런데 조갑제는 신이 나는 모양이다. 마치 이 때다 하는 자세로 지만원을 공상가로 매도했다. ”자기가 바라는 방향으로 감정에 맞춰 사실을 조작하는 사람“이라는 요지로 매도한 것이다. 이 말은 서정갑이 순전히 나를 비방하기 위해 쓴 ”공개질의서“ 제10항과 같은 내용이다. 

  

나를 ‘공상허언증’ 환자 정도로 매도한 사람들이 또 있다. 종편방송들에 단골 출연하는 최진봉(성공회대)과 이현종(문화일보 논설위원)이다. 이 둘은 2018.11.8. YTN에 나와 27분 동안 같은 논리와 같은 톤으로 지만원을 정신이상자 정도로 매도했다. 그런데 이들의 뒤를 이어 조갑제가 12.16. 같은 취지의 강연을 했다.

 

              조갑제의 저질 인격

 

나는 조갑제를 인격을 제대로 갖추지 못한 인간이라는 발언을 공개적으로 여러 차례 했다. 2004. 어느 여고출신 여성이 조갑제 홈페이지에 “지만원은 소위 때 강간을 했다”는 허무맹랑한 글을 썼는데 그걸 지워달라는 내 요구를 거절했다. 그 후 조갑제닷컴은 나를 비난하는 단골 공간이 되었다. 그 공간에는 그와 비슷한 글들이 많이 있었다. 이런 글들에 대해 내가 고소를 해서 처벌을 받은 사람이 여러 명 있다. 그래서 나는 조갑제를 인격적으로 멸시한다는 취지의 글들을 여러 차례 썼다.

 

           가방끈에도 분수가 있다 

 

그런데 이번에는 가방끈 얘기를 아니 할 수 없다. 이 세상에 적대국에 겨우 600명의 군대를 보내 “우리는 적진에서 온 군대다” 하면서 국적을 드러내 놓고 적국의 60만 대군을 향해 전투를 벌일 멍청한 진영이 어디 있겠는가? 나는 조갑제가 부산의 수산대(?)에 입학했다가 곧 중퇴한 조갑제를 고졸출신이라고 정의했다. 미해군대학원 응용수학 박사는 시쳇말로 ‘화투’를 해서 딴 것이 아니다. 덤벼도 될 군번을 향해 덤벼야지 겨우 고졸출신이 어디라고 감히 5.18에 대해 18년 동안 연구한 천재박사에게 대드는가? 이 사람은 박사가 뭔지 구경조차 해보지 못한 사람 같다. 고졸 출신이면 고졸 분수에 맞게 처신하라. 나는 북한특수군 600명이 소규모 단위로 여러 달에 걸쳐 잠입해 와서 게릴라전을 폈다고 했다. 전라도와 대한민국을 이간질시키기 위해 왔다고 했다. 내가 언제 북한군이 겨우 600명 와서  신분을 드러내 놓고 계엄군과 총격전을 벌였다 했는가? 이 인간들은 내 책을 읽어보지 않았거나, 입장 때문에 일부러 그렇게 주장하거나 둘 중 하나에 속할 것이다.이 사람들 갑자기 저능아가 되었는가? 이 사람들 정체가 과연 무엇인가? 막아줄 것을 막아주어야지 어째서 사실을 연구해보지도 않은 처지에서, 아니 저능아나 할 수 있는 언어를 사용하면서 북한의 남침 사실을 가려주려, 이토록 실력의 범위를 넘어  발악들을 하는 것인가?

서정갑은 또 북한군 600명이 오는데 어떻게 검문검색에 걸리지 않았느냐는 말도 했다. 조갑제는 또 한국 해안이 모두 모래로 구성돼 있고, 매일 모래를 빗자루로 쓸어놓기 때문에 발자국이 생긴다고 했다. 그래서 한국은 밀봉돼 있어서 단 1명의 북한군도 올 수 없다고 했다. 한국해안이 100% 모래로만 구성돼 있다면 한국은 관광으로 때돈을 벌 것이다. 수백 명의 기자가 광주에 갔었는데 그들 중 북한군을 보았다는 사람 한 사람도 없었다고도 했다. 이런 말은 아마 고등학교 재학생들도 하지 않을 것 같다.

 

조갑제는 자기가 5월 23일 광주에 들어갔다고 했다. 5월 23일이면 대부분 시체들이 도청에 있었고, 그 시체들은 다 끈으로 포장돼 있어서 관 뚜껑을 열 수 없었다. 여름 날 냄새가 진동해 송장 물이 흐르는 것을 방지하기 위해 시체들은 다 두꺼운 비닐에 둘둘 감겨져 관에 입관된 상태였다.

 

그런데 조갑제는 이렇게 거짓말을 했다. 거짓말에도 허풍이 강해 저능아나 할 수 있는 말을 했다. 아래는 강연에서 조갑제가 했다는 말들이다.

(1) “5월 23일부터 26일까지 도청과 병원에 있는 105개의 관 뚜껑을 열고 시신을 확인했는데 거의가 다 얼굴에 총상을 입어 푸르둥둥했다”

(2) “광주를 수복시킨 병력은 20사단 병력이었다”. (이건 완전한 거짓말, 무식)

(3) “경상도 신사 한분을 만났는데 5.18은 지역감정 때문에 발생한 것이 아니라 계엄군의 난폭한 과잉진압 때문에 생겼다 하더라”

 

이런 인간들이 그동안 우익행세 애국자 행세를 하면서 우익사회를 어지럽혀 온 것이다.

 

The Pro-North Cartel Tied in One String, Suh Jong-Gab, Cho Gab-Je, Choi Jin-Bong and Lee Hyon-Jong

 

Suh Jong Gab‘s Bragging, ’I Am the Best Expert of the May 18th‘

 

On May 17, 2018, Suh Jong-Gab made appearance on MBC TV. He said he is the best expert on the May 18th who looked through every document on the May 18th, and asserted that at that time in 1980 even an ant was not able to come into Gwangju. Furthermore, Suh Jong-Gab appeared in other‘s gathering, and when he was uttering that Jee Man-Won’s contention was a whole fake, he got caught up at the scene by our member Won Keok-Won (former executive of KOTRA). Concerning this, representative director Ahn Jong-Kwon and the member Won Keok-Won persistently dashed to Suh Jong-Gab to propose that, “Please stop uttering such thing only in back door, and hold a clean and open debate with Jee Man-Won”. Suh agreed to it in a show of bragging, but only got away with it all about.

 

Suh Jong-Gab : If 600 North Korean Troops Were Here, They Must Have Engaged in A Battle, Then How Many of Martial Law Troops Died on Duty?

 

When driven to a dead end, Suh abruptly brought an action against me, and concurrently put out an announcement titled “An open question to <Jee Man-Won> of 22th graduate of Military Academy” on the column of ‘Announcement of National Action campaign Headquarters’. This writing got around on SNS. It has 18 questions, and all of them were awls which aim at tearing down Jee Man-Won‘s reputation. Among them, the 10th question was like this.

 

“Question 10) At the time of January 21th incident in 1968, when Kim Shin-Jo and other 30 North guerilla infiltrated, it threw the whole nation as well as Armed Forces into utter confusion, and at the time when about 100 armed red guerilla infiltrated into Uljin in November 1968, a considerable number of casualties occurred in both sides. If it is true, then do you know how many of our National Army soldiers sacrificed their lives (died on duty) in the May 18th incident wherein 600 troops of one Battalion of North Korean Army infiltrated?”

 

Suh Jong-Gab : Defined Martial Law Troops Killed in Action Against North Korean Troops as ‘Victim of Duty’

 

What‘s catching the eye in above question is the part of his definition that for the martial law troops who were killed in action against North Korean troops, he defined them ’not Killed in Action but Died on Duty‘. As the contents of the question were so absurd, I simply laughed it out. Suh Jong-Gab is dressed only in military uniform, but actually he worked in adjutant branch which was not much different than civil service. Adjutant officers belong to ’administrative branch whose mission was to do deployment and assignment of common soldiers“. If you finished military service in adjutant branch, you can hardly take pride to say about your military service wherever you are. General recognition on them is not so good that much. So I simply thought that, ”Because he was an officer of adjutant branch, he looks a little short like this“, and I forgot it.

 

Suh Jong-Gab was proud of saying that he was computer illiteracy. So I simply thought that someone might have written the open questions for him then. But recently I was given a recording of Cho Gab-Je‘s voice which was recorded on December 16. In the recording, he censured Jee Man-Won in high spirits, -- “There is certain man who is trying to tie the things in one string to adjust to the direction and to the feeling as he wishes, and he is not other than Jee Man-Won who alleged that 600 North Korean troops had infiltrated. If 600 North Korean troops were here, they might have been engaged in a battle, then why only 10 troopers were found dead among the martial law army?”

 

Suh Jong-Gab and Cho Gab-Je, Both of Them Show Little Intelligence

 

Since 2011, Cho Gab-Je has been going around, to coin a phrase as they say, carrying lunch box with him, to say on broadcasts and give speeches that, “If a single North Korean troop came down to the May 18th, I will stick my neck out”. To Cho Gab-Je who was acting like it, I mailed a letter of certified contents proposing to hold an open debate. But Cho was silent and made no response. Having made things like it, he goes around back door with Suh Jong-Gab, protects the May 18th and conducts himself to cover up the fact of North Korea‘s invasion into the South.

 

Cho Gab-Je abuses me for being something of ‘a daydreamer who cobbles facts together in a string of his feeling. December 13 was the day the Supreme Court made the decision on me to pay the sum of 82 million won of compensation. Every rightist expressed sympathy with me. But Cho Gab-Je looked to be excited. As if to say he got the right time, he abused Jee Man-Won for being a daydreamer. He abused me to the effect that Jee Man-Won is “a man who fabricates facts to accord with his feeling and to the direction he wishes”. This saying is just the same to the question 10 of ’Open Questions’ which Suh Jong-Gab wrote to disparage me.

 

There are other people who abused me for being something of pseudologia fantastica patient. They are Choi Jin-Bong (SungKongHoe University) and Lee Hyun-Jong (Munhwa Daily News) who regularly appear on cable channels. This two men appeared on YTN TV on November 18, 2018, and abused Jee Man-Won for being a mental patient with same logic and same tone in common. Soon after, Cho Gab-Je succeeded them to make a speech to the same effect on December 16.

 

Cho Gab-Je‘s Poor Personality

 

I spoke in public several times that Cho Gab-Je is not a man who have gentlemanly personality. In the year 2004, a woman of high school graduate wrote a groundless writing on Cho Gab-Je‘s homepage that “Jee Man-Won raped a woman when he was a second lieutenant”. I asked Cho to erase it, but Cho rejected my request. Since then, Cho Gab-Je dotCom had become a space which regularly attacked me. In that space were many writings almost same to it. I accused them against their writings, and many of them were punished. Because of it, I wrote essays several times to the purport that I despise Cho Gab-Je’s personality.

 

Even the Bookbag Strap (School Career) Has to Know ITs Place

 

And now, I can not but say about bookbag strap (school career). Is there any stupid military camp in the world who would send merely 600 troops in enemy country, let them reveal their nationality by saying “we are the troops that came from your enemy‘s camp”, and go into action against 600 thousands of large army of enemy forces? I defined Cho Gab-Je’s school career as high school graduate, who entered the Fisheries College (?) in Busan but soon dropped out of it. Applied mathematics Doctor‘s agree, --it is not that I obtained the Doctor’s degree by winning Korean flower game, as they say. It is wise to challenge when challengable, but how dare does the mere high school graduate try to challenge a genius doctor who made successful research on the May 18th for 18 years? This fellow looks like he never had seen what a doctor is. If you are a high school graduate, then behave yourself to suit it. I said that 600 North Korean Special troops infiltrated into here in split small units for over several months and carried out guerilla operations. I said that they came down here to alienate Jeolla province from the state of South Korea. When did I say that the mere 600 of North Korean troops came down here to do gunfighting with martial law army, revealing their identification? These human wretches would belong to one of the two between the one who did not read my book or the one who are asserting so on purpose because they are in a certain situation unknown. Have these two men suddenly become feeble-minded children? What are the true characters of these men? I advise you to protect only what deserve to be protected, and why do you struggle desperately to cover up the fact of North Korean troops’ invasion into the South beyond your capability, in a situation of having not made any research on facts, and moreover, uttering the word that a feeble-minded child can only use?

Suh Jong-Gab also asked how the 600 North Korean troops were not caught at the military checkpoints. Cho Gab-Je said that because all the South Korean seashore was composed of sand beaches, and because guards swept them with broom everyday, so foot steps had to be left on it. He kept on saying that because South Korea was completely sealed off like this, not a single North Korean trooper could infiltrate into here. If all the seashore of South Korea are composed of sand, then South Korea will be very easy to earn lots of money by sighting tour. Cho also said that hundreds of reporters went to Gwangju, but non of them said they witnessed any North Korean troops. Perhaps even a high school student would not give this kind of utterances.

 

Cho Gab-Je said he entered Gwangju in May 23. By the day of May 23, most of the corpses were taken in the provincial building, and it was impossible to open the lids of the coffins as they were wrapped and tied with cords. Bad smell was all around in summer days, and to prevent rotten water from flowing out, all the corpses were wound around with thick vinyl sheet and were placed in the coffin.

 

In spite of it, Cho Gab-Je lied as below. His lies were so full of bragging which only feeble-minded child can utter around. Below is what he uttered in his public speech.

 

(1) “From May 23 to 26, I opened the lids of 105 coffins which were in the provincial building and hospitals, and I checked the state of the bodies, and I found most of the faces were darkish blue because of the gunshots in their faces”.

 

(2) “It was 20th division strength who restored Gwangju city. (This is an utter lie, a total ignorance”)

 

(3) “I happened to meet a gentleman of KyongSang province, and according to what he said, the May 18th broke out not because of regional emotional conflicts but because of cruel and excessive suppression operation by martial law forces”.

 

This kind of human wretches have been disturbing the rightists society so far, assuming the air of rightist and patriots.
