                     미-북, 단선로에서 마주보고 달리는 두 기차

 

온 세계가 북한을 성토하고, 미국이 전략무기를 최전선으로 배치하면서 위력을 과시하고 있는 가운데, 미국의 조야에서는 거의 공식적으로 북한에 대한 선제공격을 해야 할 시점에 이르렀다는 발언들이 이어지고 있습니다. 우리 외무장관 윤병세는 23일 유엔총회 기조연설에서 북한을 상습적인 범법자로 규정하면서 북한을 유엔에서 탈퇴 축출시키자는 극단적인 제안을 하였습니다. 많은 회원국들이 이에 동조하였다 합니다. 이에 대해 익일인 24일 북한 외무상 리영호는 역시 같은 유엔총회 기조연설을 통해 미국과 세계를 향해 정면으로 맞설 것이라 천명했습니다. 핵무기는 조선의 국가노선이며 미국의 핵위협에 대항하기 위한 자위권 행사이기 때문에 앞으로 더욱 박차를 가해 핵무기를 강화시키겠다 선포하였습니다.  

미국, 더 이상 북한에 시간을 주면 미국의안보가 실질적인 위협에 직면할 것임을 확실하게 인식하고 있습니다. 미국이 북한을 언제 어떻게 공격하느냐 하는 문제는 보안유지 능력이 없는 한국에 미리 알리지 않고 한국의 피해를 최소한으로 하는 방법으로 선제 기습공격을 가할 것으로 보입니다. 미군을 주력으로 한국군을 보조수단으로 사용할 것입니다. 이 시각 이후 미국은 언제라도 기습적인 전자전 공격을 감행할 것입니다. 적의 모든 지휘통신을 마비시키고 전자장비의 성능을 마비시킬 것입니다, 잘만 하면 후세인의 이라크처럼 북한 지휘부 역시 단 한대의 비행기를 날리지 못하고 단 1발의 야포도 쏘아보지 못한 채 소멸될 것입니다. 이는 미국과 한국의 사활이 달린 엄중한 문제이며, 우리 국민은 미국의 이런 결단을 적극 환영하고 촉구해야 할 것입니다. 이제부터 빨갱이들은 최후 발악을 시작할 것입니다.

The United States and North Korea (NK) drive hard against each other on a single track

Amidst the world’s widespread condemnation of NK’s continued nuclear threats, the United States has demonstrated its unparalleled military assets by deploying strategic bombers to the front lines. The serious consideration of a preemptive military option against North Korea appears to be skyrocketing within the US government and public.

On September 23, 2016, South Korea’s foreign minister, Yun Byung-se, in an address to the annual United Nations General Assembly, emphatically described North Korea as a habitual criminal and strongly insisted that the United Nations should reconsider whether North Korea is qualified for the UN membership. It was reported that many UN member countries agreed with minister Yun’s suggestion. On the contrary, in a defiant speech before the UN General Assembly, North Korea’s foreign minister, Ri Yong-ho vowed again to strengthen their nuclear forces. Ri Yong-ho emphasized that the nuclear power is a national goal of the DPRK and declared that NK will further strengthen their nuclear buildups to fight against US nuclear threats, as their right of self-defense.

I firmly believe that the United States will soon face a serious security threat if she continues to tolerate NK’s acts of intimidation. I assume that the United States will have no choice but to launch a preemptive strike on North Korea without notifying South Korea of its operational details, due to the unreliable security environment, in an effort to minimize South Korea’s losses. The United States forces will be mobilized as the main body and the ROKs as the supplementary force.

Any moment from now on, the United States may conduct a surprise electronic attack to paralyze the enemy’s command communication system and knock out electronic equipment. The North Korean regime will soon collapse afterwards, even without having attempted to launch a single fighter or to fire a single round from field guns, similar to the fall of the Hussein regime. As this is a significant matter of life and death for the United States and the Republic of Korea, we the people of South Korea must welcome such a decision by the US with open arms and overwhelming support. The communists and NK sympathizers placed in the South will probably respond with a frantic last-ditch resistance.
